Originally from Texas, Kim is a second-generation Irish-Mexican actress based in New York City  who has carved out a thriving career spanning film, audio, and stage performances.

Her artistic journey was sparked by a shoestring budget performance of Mary Poppins she saw as a child in her grade school cafeteria. This moment was transformative, especially given her humble beginnings among Latine working-class families, where humor and resilience were the responses to life's challenges. While familiar with hard work, the pursuit of an artistic dream was uncharted territory.

Recognizing her grit and talent, teachers and mentors guided Kim through scholarships and networking. These opportunities elevated her into the upper echelons of society and secured a scholarship at the University of the North Carolina School of the Arts.

Upon relocating to New York, Kim immersed herself in sketch and improv at The Upright Citizens Brigade, seamlessly translating her natural dry wit and comedic timing onto top comedy stages. On-screen, her versatile performances cross the spectrum from an FBI agent in Bull to a seedy foster parent in Orange Is the New Black and an anesthesiologist in New Amsterdam, showcasing her dynamic talent across various roles.

Beyond the visual realm, Kim lends her voice to audiobooks and voice overs. Her authentic, rich, and knowledgeable voice breathes life into thrilling narratives, humorous tales, and soothing lullabies.

During her downtime, Kim works on crafting scripts and cooking meals to mixing cocktails and working out. Her off-screen life is enriched by moments spent with her three children and husband, all while passionately supporting her adopted team, the San Francisco 49ers.
